Featuring repertoire from the Singers' 2007-2008 season, "The Cloths of Heaven" is the choir's ninth release. The CD includes Anton Bruckner's classic motet "Os justi meditabitur sapientiam," Eric Whitacre's beautiful "Five Hebrew Love Songs," and the world premiere of William Hawley's "The Cloths of Heaven," which was commissioned by the choir. Choral music fans will also find spirituals, gospel music, and sacred and secular music from all over the world.

"Carol of Joy," is the University of Utah Singers' third Christmas album, recorded in Libby Gardner Concert Hall and featuring the Singers from both the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 seasons. Including arrangements of traditional carols, such as "Silent Night," "Go Tell It on the Mountain," and "We Need a Little Christmas" and pieces by familiar composers Natalie Sleeth and John Rutter, the music will warm your heart and fill your home with the spirit of the holiday.

This CD represents a compilation of repertoire from the Singers' 2007 European Tour, including "La Rose Complete" and "Dirait-on" by Morten Lauridsen, "When Daivid Heard" by Eric Whitacre, "Elijah Rock" by Moses Hogan, "Where is Love" arr. by Gene Puerling, "How Can I Keep from Singing?" in both English and French, arr. by Ronald Staheli, as well as Europe folk songs such as "Sing a Song of Sixpence" arr. by John Rutter.
